How can I copy Flows, Language Objects and Entities?

I have found an interesting question in our Support Knowledge Base,

How can I copy Flows, Language Objects and Entities within Teneo Studio?

Teneo Studio allows to move and copy Flows, Language Objects and Entities from one folder to another within the same solution or from another solution.

Note: When Flows, Language Objects and Entities are copied, their Document Number will be changed as the object will be treated as a new object within the solution.

Below are the steps on how you can move/copy flows, LOs and Entities:

1.1 Within the same solution

1.1.1 Moving

To move object(s) from one folder to another, select the object(s) to be moved (to multi-select hold down Ctrl while selecting with the mouse) and use the Cut button (Ctrl+X) available in the top ribbon of Teneo Studio in the Edit area, next select the destination folder and click the Paste button (Ctrl+V) in the top ribbon.

Alternatively, it is possible to drag the object(s) and drop them onto the wanted folder.

1.1.2 Copy from another folder

To copy object(s) from one folder to another, select the flow(s) to be copied (to multi-select hold down Ctrl while selecting with the mouse) and use the Copy button (Ctrl+C) available in the top ribbon of Teneo Studio in the Edit area, next select the folder where the copy should be done (this can be either the already opened folder or another folder), click the Paste button (Ctrl+V) in the top ribbon. The object(s) are now copied to the destination.

1.1.3 Copy within folder

It is possible to create a copy of a Flow, Language Object or Entity within the same folder by pressing the Ctrl key down while dragging and dropping the object(s) into the already selected folder. Alternatively, click the Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) buttons available in the top ribbon of Teneo Studio.

Note: The copied object(s) will be renamed by adding a “_x” suffix after the kernel name (where “x” is a sequential number starting with 1):

1.2 From another solution

To copy object(s) from another solution into the one currently open, go to the Search tab in the top of the Teneo Studio window, select the object type you want to copy (Flow in this example) and search using the Search All Solutions options:

In the list of search results, select the object(s) to be copied (to multi-select press Ctrl while selecting with the mouse), then click Copy (Ctrl+C) in the top menu (in the Edit section of the top ribbon), select the destination folder and click Paste (Ctrl+V) (again in the top ribbon). Alternatively, it is possible to drag the objects and drop them onto the wanted folder.
