.getting error in power BI

Hello All,

An user is trying to connect to connector in Power BI but get this message after entering url and ID. With same id and password user is able to login to studio.

Please help us to resolve this issue.

Could you please provide me with more information?
Is this only happening to this specific user, and is everyone else able to log in?
Is this related to a Sandbox?

Most of the cases, the issue is due to caching in Power BI, where the user has to clear it. You can find how to do it here: BI connector login failed - #4 by Ramazan

Thank you for the response.
its happening only to the specific and random users not to all user.
No its not related to sandbox, we are facing this to the prod teneo studio and inquire.

Hi Akshay,

Can you confirm that clearing the cache did not solve it? If that is the case then I’d need you to open up a ticket on our servicedesk so we can take a closer look at the specific users and grant the rights if they are missing.

Edit:
Could you also make sure you include screenshots of the users and groups when creating the ticket?

Hello Ramazan,

The user reset his password from AD. So as of now he is not facing the issue.
But this issue is occurring frequently. so next time once issue occurs we will try to clear the cache which you have mentioned above and will check and update you.

Happy to hear. Related to the issue, we’re aware of it and are in contact with the Microsoft team to get our connector approved. With that, you will hopefully not hear more from this error.
