PowerBI connector with PROD setup

Hi,
I have a question about PowerBI connector with PROD setup. Why it requires one additional step to save query results, rather than like Development setup to directly retrieve and execute the query from BI.

Hi sc_chatbot,

The additional step is to store the results and is recommended for being more robust. By using the Production setup, your data will be retrieved much quicker, compared to the Development setup.

The Production setup is recommended if you want to work with 3-6 months of data. Its strength will not be clear when working with small numbers of data.
